One of the most prominent religion practiced in present-day Lunar Isle. This religion established itself following the arrival of European settlers sometime in the late 1600s.
The triad refers to the three pillars of the religion: the soul, the word, and the faith. Represented by the Innocent, the Brother and the Holy One respectively.
The Archaic Gods are said to have roamed both lands and oceans before the advent of humanity. They shared their wisdom and skills before their subsequent departure, or so the myth goes.
Presently, there are vast places - mostly in small and insular villages - around the Northern regions which still exercise this faith and prays in the Archaic TongueThe language spoken by the natives of Lunar Isle.. Some exceptions can be found among sparse villages down the South.
The most revered among them were: the God of Rain, the Forest Deity, the Sea Goddess, the Fire Deity and the Sun God.
The Earthly Ones were the new generation of deities descended from the Archaic Gods who never set foot in Unh'aAccording to the myths this is world where the Archaic Gods lived before moving to our world.
Together with the Nether Spirits, the Earthly Ones overlooked the lands' prosperity and safety. It is commonly believed that not everyone of them left for Lann'itThe diamond city of Lann'it is presumably the place where the Archaic Gods settled in after humanity reached its prosperity., choosing instead, to stay behind.
There is no concrete number of how many Earthly Ones were said to have existed. More often than not, there are a number of them whose characteristics overlaps with those of an Archaic God rendering it hard to ascertain their status as an Earthly One.
The prominent figures among them were: The Moon Goddess, the God of Death, the God of Dreams and the Goddess of Hunt.
Faithful servants of the Archaic Gods.
Unlike the Gods, the Nether Spirits learned to co-exist with humanity for a brief time. It was only when they came to experience human selfishness did they chose to lead a secluded life as far away from humanity as possible.
Older folks, particularly in rural areas tend to leave offerings to places rumoured to be inhabited by these spirits.
