Deeprise Island
Deeprise Island or Lull'Ur, used to be a flourishing island hosting a tight-knit fishing community even before the arrival of foreign settlers.
Over the years, land erosion has prompted its inhabitants to relocate to the mainland or overseas. Once a thriving community known for its' floating houses, by mid-70s and no thanks in part to the terrible monsoon which flooded what remained of the villages, the goverment officially announced a forced evacuation making Deeprise Island essentially a ghost town.

Witch Island
Witch Island or Sirr'Ur is believed by locals to be inhabited by a coven of witches who built a community at the foot of the vulcanic mountain. It is said those not born on its soil must offer equal the amount of their wish's value or face catasthropic consequences.
Albeit considered a hoax by most, local legends say the island once imprisoned either an Archaic God or an Earthly One. Hence, the Gods tied the witches' bloodline to the land. Should a witch ever leave and should they exercise their ability for wrong reasons misfortune awaits them.
This supertitious story gained mainstream popularity following the murders of several young women that spanned most of the 80s. News outlet of the era reportedly claimed all of them were originally from Witch Island.
